Buy a business. Not a problem.
Buying a business that already works beats starting from zero, if you check the numbers first. Here's how buying works, what to watch for, and how our CFO can check a business for you before you commit.
Who it's for
You want to own a business
You'd rather buy one that already works than start from zero. Managers, executives, people who've just sold their own company.
You want to grow by buying
A competitor, a supplier, a customer, a new region. Companies that buy to grow faster than they could on their own.
You invest in companies
Holding companies, family offices, investment funds and search funds looking for small companies with real profits.
Seven steps, in plain words
A small acquisition usually takes 4 to 9 months from first look to the keys. This is what happens, and who does what.
- 1
Tell us what you want
Sector, size, region, how much you can put in yourself. Five minutes, below. It's free and confidential.
- 2
Find businesses that fit
Through brokers, marketplaces and your network, and, when an owner we work with agrees, through us. You usually get a one-page anonymous summary first (a "teaser"): what it does, its size, its profit, and why the owner is selling.
- 3
Sign a confidentiality agreement
Once you sign an NDA, you get the full information pack with the name, the accounts and the story, and you can meet the owner.
- 4
Make an offer
A short letter of intent: your price and how you'd pay it, for example cash at closing, part paid later from results (an "earn-out"), or the seller lending you part of the price.
- 5
Check everything (due diligence)
Before you commit, you look at every number, contract and risk. This is where you avoid buying a problem. We do this for you, led by our CFO.
- 6
Arrange the money
Usually a mix of your own money, a bank loan and sometimes the seller lending part of the price. We prepare the financing file.
- 7
Sign and take over
Your lawyer and the seller's lawyer write the sale agreement and the seller's guarantees. You sign, the money moves, the business is yours.
Clear prices, agreed upfront
Joining the buyer club
Your profile, matching, and the anonymous summaries of businesses that fit.
Due diligence
Our CFO checks the accounts, cash, clients, contracts and risks of the business you want, and gives you a written report and a fair price range.
Financing file
Plan, forecasts and the file for banks and lenders, so your acquisition gets funded.
We don't take a commission on any sale, from buyers or sellers. You pay us only for the work you ask for, at a price agreed upfront. For the sale itself, you work with the seller, a licensed broker and your own lawyer.
You're on the list.
Thanks, there. When an owner we work with wants to meet buyers like you, we'll write to .
